How curatorial review works

Fresh outputs pass through independent review into one public decision and queue.

How to read itMove across the image to change stages; tap on touch screens.

  1. Monographs generates a broad random set from the submitted program. Artists cannot submit only their favourite results.
  2. We confirm that one input recreates the same image and that the program renders safely. Technical review protects collectors without judging the art.
  3. Five people review their assigned fresh outputs before the panel discusses the work. Independent votes reduce conformity and founder influence.
  4. The artist receives a decision and one primary reason within the published review period. The five review paths converge without hiding the outcome.
  5. Accepted work moves through visible stages from scheduled to published. The public record makes the curatorial process accountable.
Submission

Bring the work, not an audience.

  • One program: the same value must always create the same picture.
  • Twenty outputs from random values, not selected favourites.
  • A statement under 300 words.
  • Optional links to earlier work. Follower counts are ignored.
