Monographs
AboutMonographs

Art made by code. Held in public.

Monographs is a gallery, public registry, and launchpad for generative art.

The artwork is created when you mint. Once published, its program and ownership record remain onchain.

Art is the point. Eligible collections can add RWA-backed maturation that rewards longer, uninterrupted holding.

Two publishing routes

Curated and open publishing meet in one permanent public record.

How to read itMove across the image to change stages; tap on touch screens.

  1. Five reviewers independently judge fresh outputs generated from the submitted program. The work is selected without using audience size or follower counts.
  2. The artist publishes directly from the website after technical safety checks; there is no application or panel. Open work receives the same clear terms and permanent public record.
  3. Both routes publish NFTs created from a program locked before mint. A recorded input lets the stored program recreate each artwork.
  4. The route, terms, program, and ownership record remain publicly verifiable. One registry makes the collection’s origin and current holder inspectable.
What gets published

From program to collection.

A recorded seed creates each NFT’s image. The stored program can recreate it.

From program to public record

A locked program becomes one repeatable artwork and one public ownership record.

How to read itMove across the image to change stages; tap on touch screens.

  1. The artist locks the generative code before the collection opens. The rules that make the artwork cannot be quietly replaced later.
  2. A recorded seed gives the program one repeatable input and creates one distinct image. The picture is generated, not uploaded as a finished file.
  3. The NFT links that generated image to its current holder onchain. Program, artwork, and ownership can be inspected as one collection record.
Curated collections

Artists apply. The work is reviewed.

Five readers review broad output samples independently. Follower counts never enter the vote.

QuestionWeightMethod
Are the pictures good?30We review a broad random sample, never the artist’s hand-picked favourites.
Is it new?20Judged by people, with a computer check for how much it resembles work that already exists.
Variety, but still one family15We mark down both ways: if every picture looks the same, and if they look like a random unrelated pile.
Same number in, same picture out, every time15Pass or fail. Fail this and you are declined no matter how good everything else is.
The idea behind it10Does the program actually do what your description says it does?
Can you handle a public launch?10This is not about fame. We never ask for or look at follower counts.
Open collections

Artists publish directly.

No application or panel. An automated check tests the program; the creator chooses supply, price, wallet limit, and sale window.

Maturation

Optional. Declared before mint.

Fees can acquire eligible RWAs over fixed epochs. Holding the same artwork for longer can increase its share; a transfer resets the clock.
